Pepper Johns was established in 2013 and came about from a need identified within the local Church to bring the community together outside of the Church. They have established a ladies’ group and a number of youth activities targeting the young people living in the surrounding area which is an area of high deprivation and a neighbourhood renewal area.
With support from the Elevate programme, the group developed team building and strategic planning around inequality and supported the Men’s Shed relocation.
