Mid & East Antrim Agewell Partnership (MEAAP) is a local inter-agency based partnership aimed at improving the lives of older people aged 60 years and over, living in the Ballymena, Larne & Carrickfergus areas.

We utilise an interagency based partnership approach to tackle the many issues facing older people and have just recently successfully launched our three year ‘Ageing Well & Reaching Out’ Project in July 2013 which includes the provision of Good Morning Services, Advice & Information services as well as the development of social activity programmes including luncheon clubs and handyman services.

We also meet on a quarterly basis with our member groups to discuss strategic opportunities for partnership and collaboration, and we are continually consulting with and collaborating with various voluntary and statutory sector organisations to identify new projects which can be delivered locally for the benefit of the local community.
