Elevate Mentoring & Grants Programme – Compass Advocacy Network

Compass Advocacy Network (CAN), one of the fantastic organisations who took part in our Elevate Community Mentoring & Grants programme in 2020. The Network was awarded a grant to develop an innovative health literacy education package called Josephine & Jack - life-size anatomically correct characters which are used for education people with learning disabilities and autism about their bodies.

Josephine & Jack can be used for lots of different topics including sexuality, contraception, sexual health, bullying, mental health, covid response, abuse, safeguarding and many more. The Elevate grant enabled them to purchase the train the trainer package and become exclusive providers in Northern Ireland and they  have already started using Josephine and Jack with our service users. How brilliant!
