Men’s Health Network (MAN)

Men’s Action Network was established in 1994 to support and promote the health and wellbeing of males in the North West of Ireland and to offer advice, counselling and support on a range of issues such as health education and promotion.  The Network supports men’s health through their services and programmes which address the life issues men experience including domestic abuse, depression, isolation, family breakdown and addictions.

Mentor: ARC Healthy Living Centre

MAN gained support through the Elevate programme to engage with those hardest to reach in their community to ensure their services are focused on reducing health inequalities. The organisation undertook the Elevate training on community development and health inequalities, developed a strategic plan in line with the project aim and improved skills and knowledge of staff and volunteers.
