South Lough Neagh Regeneration

South Lough Neagh Regeneration is a cross community organisation which was established in 1991 by community representatives as a response to the social isolation and economic stagnation of the area. The organisation’s mission is to continue its commitment to attracting and encouraging investment in the future social, economic, cultural and environmental wellbeing of the community of Lough Neagh’s southern shores through its own activities and by liaising with public and private sectors.

With support from the Elevate programme, SNLR co-designed a process with the local community that reached those that are more isolated and planned a strategy for future work with a focus on reducing health inequalities.
