St Colman’s GAC is a rural based Gaelic club based in Drumaness benefitting all sections of the community from age 5 through to senior citizens. While there is an active football and camogie framework to engage the youth and their parents, they also hold a number of events throughout the year to cater for the senior population.
With support from the Elevate programme, the group tackled isolation through providing tea boxes for older people and support with accessing necessities for families alongside development of a strategy for reducing health inequalities.
