The Public Health Agency (PHA) and the Community Development and Health Network (CDHN) are pleased to announce that the 6th Elevate Community Mentoring and Grants Programme 2024-25 IS NOW CLOSED.
Stephanie Houston, Senior Training and Development Officer said, “ The Elevate Community Mentoring and Grants Programme 2024-25 offers a unique opportunity and assistance to groups who want to deliver new community development project ideas to address health inequalities. It provides financial support (up to £5,000) and invaluable networking and support. Community mentoring is the most important aspect of the programme, and we have fantastic mentoring organisations that support successful groups who want to bring people together to tackle health inequalities in their local areas. It is a great way for groups to connect with others and have that one-to-one support to assist you in developing your project”.
The closing date for applications is 4:00pm on Monday, 22nd July 2024.
We will consider all applications, and this year, we particularly welcome local groups working in Lisburn and Castlereagh, Antrim and Newtownabbey, North Down and Ards, Faughan, Clogher Valley and Slieve Gullion. We also encourage interest from groups who support people from LGBTQIA+, BAME, groups working with people living with a physical or learning disability and other under-represented groups.

CDHN is hosting a series of Elevate Information sessions on Zoom. These sessions are crucial for new groups interested in applying to the Elevate Mentoring & Grants Programme. They will provide detailed information about the application process and answer any questions you may have.
